Welcome to Little Rose Cake Studio, based in Andover, Hampshire. I create bespoke cakes to help celebrate your special occasions (Birthdays, Weddings or any other parties) from my home with a 5* food hygiene rating. All my cakes are made to order; freshly baked and decorated from scratch.  Please have a look at some of my previous cake creations on my Galleries pages. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The best way to get your cake booked in would be to drop me a message via the contact form on Contact Me. As much as I love to chat about cake, I’m a teeny tiny team of one so I am often not able to answer the phone. I always respond to my messages and emails as soon as possible though so never fear. Once we’ve discussed your requirements and decided on a design, I ask for a booking fee to secure the order (£30 for celebration cakes) the balance is then payable on or before collection. For more details, take a look at my T&C’s.

ASAP! I’m a one woman team so don’t take on many orders each week and I genuinely hate turning people away. Don’t make me do that.

Let me know how many people you’d like the cake to serve and I’ll guide you on size.

Ooooooh. This changes every time somebody asks me but right now, it’s Lemon and Elderflower. Light, fruity, zesty. All good things. Unless you like prefer chocolate. In which case Double Chocolate Fudge. But then Caramelised Biscuit is pretty epic too… If there’s something you really fancy, let me know. I’m always happy to try new things. Apart from fruit cake. It’s a no from me.

Every single time! I always use the highest quality ingredients, free range eggs and as often as possible, British produce. I am such a fuss pot and each of my recipes has been thoroughly taste tested (I REALLY like cake..), so I am confident in the ingredients I use. I never use packet mixes and I never freeze my cakes.

Sure do! Flavour taster boxes are available at set times throughout the year. Each box contains 6 flavours and are £15 each. Keep an eye on my Facebook page for the date of the next box.

I follow strict hygiene and cross-contamination procedures and will try to accommodate allergies where I can BUT I always stress that, as I bake from my home kitchen, it is not an allergen-free environment and so traces of allergens may be present. As long as you feel safe with that, let’s talk. If your allergy is severe, I recommend using an allergy specialist baker.

I’m always happy to use another cake as inspiration for what you like, but I cannot copy somebody’s else’s work. I can usually make something similar to the cake you have seen but it won’t be an exact match. I like to put my own spin on things. Collections are from my home cake studio (SP11 6UJ). We’ll arrange an agreed 1 hour time slot. If you’re running late, please let me know so that we can rearrange your collection time. Please be mindful that you’re collecting from my home.

You’re funny! Please collect by car. Before you collect, please ensure you have cleared a flat space in the car (passenger footwell or boot are the best places). Cakes should never never never be transported on a car seat, on a passengers lap or in a child’s buggy (this has actually happened!).

This is the craziest thing I’ve heard since carrying a cake in a buggy. As my cakes are baked to order and I don’t use any preservatives, I recommend consuming within two days of collection (24 hours for cupcakes). My cakes are never frozen so if you do have leftovers (Mind. Blown.), you can wrap them tightly in clingfilm and freeze for up to 1 month. Allow the cake to come up to room temperature before serving. Otherwise it’ll be too hard and too cold.
